French ceramist, trained at La Cambre School of Design in Belgium, Livia Spinga has been developing a research work based on gestures as a generator of stories: the "pot" and its manufacture become pretexts to develop a plastic language and narrative evocations. She accumulates pots as if they were encounters and moods. She makes and undoes, she questions gestures and firing and draws her own beliefs from them. She places hesitation, error and letting go at the heart of her practice and transforms them into ornaments.
